This very harmonic pair belongs to the collection of Boris Kegel-Konietzko and was collected during an expedition in the 1950s. Besides his interesting patina structure this pair has a very special bearing of arms and hands.Both these figures actually come from a different world. They are the heavenly partners of two living human beings on earth. The Baule tribe from the western part of Africa actually believes that every human has a partner in heaven.
